[07:53]<@BC_Programming> oh well
[07:53]<@BC_Programming> now I've really done it
[07:53]<@BC_Programming> forgot to bring a linking book and I'm trapped in a book lol
[07:58]<@BC_Programming> and it just has to be one with a nausea effect of course
[08:03]<+FusRoDah> How did you manage that numpty? Can i get you out?
[08:03]<@BC_Programming> yes I believe you could help me
[08:03]<@BC_Programming> you would have to make a linking book
[08:03]<@BC_Programming> in the overworld that is
[08:03]<+FusRoDah> Mmm and how would one go about that
[08:03]<@BC_Programming> it's crafted by just putting a normal book in the crafting grid
[08:04]<+FusRoDah> Do you have any books?
[08:04]<@BC_Programming> I think there is one in my base
[08:04]<+FusRoDah> ok will login and have a look
[08:04]<@BC_Programming> in the iron chest underneath my fabricator
[08:05]<+FusRoDah> k give me a mo
[08:05]<@BC_Programming> thx
[08:05]<@BC_Programming> I'm in the book called "age 6" should be with the others
[08:06]<+FusRoDah> ok
[08:06]<@BC_Programming> make the linking book first though or we'll both be trapped
[08:06]<+FusRoDah> of course
[08:06]<@BC_Programming> you don't want to get trapped here, quite unpleasant
[08:09]<+FusRoDah> OK I'm coming in.. hold on to your paychecks
[08:09]<@BC_Programming> did you find age 6
[08:09]<+FusRoDah> Im here
[08:09]<@BC_Programming> it'll give you nausea effect
[08:10]<@BC_Programming> but you should be able to see my cobblestone house
[08:10]<+FusRoDah> erm looking though it is hard

[09:04]<+camerongray> there*
[09:04]<+FusRoDah> Yeah, how did you go about it?
[09:13]<+camerongray> I host a quassel core on an external server
[09:19]<+camerongray> Considering building a system to allow me to sell quassel core hosting
[09:19]<+camerongray> Very lightweight on server use - I'm running mine off of a 96mb RAM VPS

[10:26]<Tux2> Nice
[10:48]<@BC_Programming> oh wow :O just got an E-mail from MS... apparently I can download and use a Beta build of the next version of Visual Studio
[10:48]<+FusRoDah> nice
[10:48]<@BC_Programming> using VS2012
[10:49]<@BC_Programming> and in standard MS style the next version is being called Visual Studio 12
[10:49]<@BC_Programming> So... versions went 1.0, 4.2, 5.0, 6.0, 7, 2003, 2005,2008,2010,2012, and then 12
[10:51]<+FusRoDah> Good old MS
[10:52]<@BC_Programming> maybe 12 is just their working name though
[10:52]<@BC_Programming> since they don't know when it will be released
[10:52]<@BC_Programming> would be embarassing to call it 2013, then not have it come out until 2015 or something
[10:53]<+FusRoDah> They gave a friend of mine an award.. they can call it anything they want and I will forgive
[10:53]<@BC_Programming> "Monkey Studio"
[10:53]<@BC_Programming> actually that would be an awesome name
[10:53]<+FusRoDah> yeah
[10:53]<@BC_Programming> then plugins could be called Monkey Wrenches
[10:53]<@BC_Programming> I think I'm on to something here
[10:54]<@BC_Programming> and a package of plugins is a Barrel of Monkeys
[10:54]<+FusRoDah> BASecamp now introduces the 'Monkey' range of products
[10:54]<@BC_Programming> MonkeyWrite, MonkeyFile and MonkeyTalk
[10:58] * Nat (natman97@mib-D760DC52.west.biz.rr.com) Quit (Quit: zzzZZZzzzZZzzZZZzz)
[11:00]<+FusRoDah> How did we get on with the server?
[11:00]<@BC_Programming> You mean the one I got a username and pwd for but never got a working IP presumably
[11:01]<+FusRoDah> indeed..
[11:01]<+FusRoDah> camerongray can you solve that?
[11:02]<@BC_Programming> Part of me still wants to do FTB, just so it's different
[11:02]<@BC_Programming> even though it will be hella-hard to do stuff because all the machines have crazy complicated recipes
[11:02]<+FusRoDah> If it's too complicated I probably wouldn't enjoy it
[11:04]<@BC_Programming> just thinking it would be better to go with something that isn't the same as the one Tux has if that makes sense
[11:06]<@BC_Programming> oooh wait a sec, the recipes thing can be disabled server-side by using a different pack
[11:11]<+FusRoDah> I'm starting to find the constant difficult recipes a chore and not fun.. I can spend 2hrs building one machine just so it will allow me to spend another 4hrs trying to build another. all the while I'm no longer building
[11:11]<@BC_Programming> 4 hours to build a machine?
[11:11]<+FusRoDah> You get the idea
[11:11]<@BC_Programming> you'r focussing too much on building end-game stuff I think
[11:11]<+FusRoDah> Like what?
[11:12]<@BC_Programming> machines
[11:12]<+FusRoDah> A macerator? Or some form of energy?
[11:12]<@BC_Programming> well give me an example of the first machine, and then the second machine you were referring to above
[11:17]<@BC_Programming> Energy is still a problem though, kind of hoped the nether power plants would solve that but that doesn't appear to be the case
[11:18]<+FusRoDah> I built a macerator after a compactor so I could build nano armour.. I get your point but I used to mine so that I could build my home. Now I seem to mine so I can build the next piece of tat. Actually the more your pushing the point the more I realise that I'm not even sure why I'm playing it anymore. If it was a simple fact of building machines into a system I could get right behind that.
[11:18]<+FusRoDah> But it's not. It's just slogging through mining to find something you need to make the next machine. Yeah I'm not sure why I even play this now.. Constantly bothering you for stuff is not my idea of fun. You seem to have a great grasp on it.. I just want to build.
[11:19]<@BC_Programming> yeah you focussed on the nano armour there, methinks
[11:19]<@BC_Programming> you can always just build, and just mine for the materials
[11:21]<+FusRoDah> How about a compromise?
[11:21]<@BC_Programming> myself I only play tekkit for the extra machines and guff... if I want to build I play Vanilla
[11:21]<@BC_Programming> not because it's better to build with but because there is no overwhelming 'need' to have machines and stuff
[11:24]<@BC_Programming> You're house is definitely better looking than mine, that much is sure
[11:24]<@BC_Programming> I was going for the "you might lose a finger just walking through it" feel
[11:25]<+FusRoDah> No mine is just a polished turd.. I tried to make something but too caught up in the other stuff.. yours is an industrial house
[11:25]<@BC_Programming> my floor is still dirt and stone, didn't really finish the walls
[11:28]<+FusRoDah> How's about if we do a server thing together.. I build and you do the machine things? I build the house and keep doing that and you do the other stuff?
[11:42]<@BC_Programming> We could do that... but how bout, instead of MC we do like Terraria or something
[11:45]<+FusRoDah> Again never really got into terraria
[11:45]<@BC_Programming> oh, nevermind then

[12:23]<+FusRoDah> To be fair friend I will stick with MC and I would like to do something together but I need to do my YouTube builds and what not. If you wanted to do an MC thing together then cool.. but that's it
[12:31]<+FusRoDah> I just want to build ;-)
[12:48]<+camerongray> Oh BC - Will PM you the IP :P
[12:48]<+FusRoDah> Cool
[12:49]<+camerongray> Should be 63.141.234.235
[12:50]<@BC_Programming> yep
[13:02]<+camerongray> Working?
[13:02]<@BC_Programming> I'm in the shell at least
[13:03]<+camerongray> Cool, that will be fine - There's no GUI on it
[13:03]<@BC_Programming> yeah I know
[13:03]<@BC_Programming> trying to figure out how to install java
[13:14]<+camerongray> It's Debian so should be apt-get
[13:15]<@BC_Programming> yeah I got it
[13:15]<@BC_Programming> had to do default-jdk instead of what I was doing
[13:16] * Nat (natman97@mib-D760DC52.west.biz.rr.com) has joined #glitchpc
[13:25]<+camerongray> ahh, cool
[13:27]<@BC_Programming> mc.bc-programming.com
[13:27]<+camerongray> Nice!
[13:28]<+camerongray> Will try later, on my laptop at the moment
[13:28]<@BC_Programming> whitelist is currently Me, Mulreay, you, Tux, and Craig
[13:29]<@BC_Programming> It's tekkit lite, but I just thought about this- use the latest MC snapshot instead hmm
[13:33]<+camerongray> Hmm, I quite like regular MC with plugins - I don't have a huge ammount of time to play and it's a pain to learn all the tekkit stuff
[13:33]<+camerongray> Plus we'll soon have Tux's big tekkit server
[13:33]<@BC_Programming> indeed
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> Tux is making another one? there is already epic tekkit and the whitelist
[13:34]<+camerongray> Ahh, meaning epictekkit
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> I'm thinking snapshot MC
[13:34]<+camerongray> So there are already these tekkit ones so thinking MC might be better
[13:34]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[13:34]<+camerongray> We also need to beg Jacky to get MC :P
[13:35]<@BC_Programming> I think we can get along without bukkit, since it's just a whitelist so we won't need logblock or any of that
[13:35] * Kevin (Mibbit@mib-DEA9649.dhcp.aldl.mi.charter.com) has joined #glitchpc
[13:36]<@BC_Programming> I'm thinking 13w09a
[13:36]<+FusRoDah> Jacky is older than the Earth.. he will NEVER join minecraft
[13:36]<@BC_Programming> lol
[13:40]<@BC_Programming> OK, now it's a vanilla whitelist, running the 12w07a snapshot
[13:43]<+camerongray> Woo!
[13:44]<+camerongray> I'm telling him you said that :P
[13:44]<+camerongray> jk
[13:44]<@BC_Programming> he's so old he remembers when the Dead Sea was just sick
[13:50]<@BC_Programming> there is a b snapshot... not using it though because crafting is completely broken, lol
[13:51]<@BC_Programming> you can't use anything but oak planks as wood :/

[14:15]<@Mulreay> I guess I need to update or something
[14:15]<@BC_Programming> sorry 09a
[14:15]<@Mulreay> It shows 13w09a
[14:15]<@BC_Programming> http://www.mojang.com/2013/02/minecraft-snapshot-13w09a/
[14:16]<@Mulreay> I thought we weren't using the snapshot?
[14:17] * Nat (natman97@mib-D760DC52.west.biz.rr.com) has joined #glitchpc
[14:17]<@Mulreay> Did I miss a page.. reading back
[14:17]<@BC_Programming> it was tekkit, but I decided against that since we already have a whitelist tekkit server
[14:17]<@BC_Programming> and if I went with bukkit I'd probably hardly play on it myself
[14:18] * Nat (natman97@mib-D760DC52.west.biz.rr.com) Quit (Quit: zzzZZZzzzZZzzZZZzz)
[14:18]<@Mulreay> I wish Nat would just change his script so he doesn't join
[14:19]<@Mulreay> In out in out in out in out
[14:19]<@BC_Programming> a lot of peeps can be like that
[14:19]<@BC_Programming> I was like that when I had no internet
[14:19]<@BC_Programming> though that was ping timeout too
[14:20]<@BC_Programming> and what's this, we have pottsi, and then we have his dead cousin, pottsi grave!
[14:21]<@Mulreay> It looks more like an auto-join script like I have *| */join *#glitchpc but then he leaves when he changes something on joining
[14:21]<@BC_Programming> indeed
[14:22]<@Mulreay> Completely forgot what i'm doing
[14:22]<@Mulreay> Oh dropbox the MC update to my PC
[14:23]<@BC_Programming> just don't forget what you are doing when you are skydiving
[14:24]<@BC_Programming> I'm not on it atm; I did built a few things near spawn, but didn't want a huge headstart if that makes sense
[14:25]<@Mulreay> I'm sure I know how to do that you silly man... You wait for like a bit.. probably.... and then you think of Unicorns and the suth and the guy infront of you waving his arms around who suddenly slows down and you fall faster and faster away.. you think.. silly man that won't stop you falling dumbo. And I guess after that we land safely in a bed of soft pillows?
[14:26]<@BC_Programming> well if you happen to be over top of a pillow factory with an open sunroof I suppose
[14:27]<@Mulreay> I knew it..
[14:28]<@BC_Programming> http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzmylzsmXk1qzamioo1_500.jpg
[14:28]<@Mulreay> Is this snapshot going to break 'me building castles' btw?
[14:28]<@BC_Programming> I don't know
[14:29]<@Mulreay> A java exception has occured.. cool
[14:30]<@BC_Programming> do you even know how to use a snapshot?
[14:31]<@Mulreay> Yes I was joking
[14:34]<@Mulreay> Anyhow
[14:39]<@Mulreay> I tried to get involved and failed completely... never again. http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/1341/lolfacefook.png

[16:32]<+camerongray> Same with the domain
[16:32]<@BC_Programming> IP worked for me as well as Mulreay
